The Palau lo Mirador is a gothic palace, dating from 1385 but with origins going back to the ninth century, when the town where it is located, Torroella de Montgrí, was formed, in the heart of the Empordà region, on the Costa Brava (Girona).
The extraordinary architectural ensemble of Palau lo Mirador is the result of a great deal of redevelopment throughout the centuries. The last full alteration that gave it its current image was carried out from 1929-1934 by the modernist architect Rafael Masó, one of the most important Catalan architects of the twentieth century, a great admirer of Antoni Gaudí.
This emblematic building offers the public **** hotel services, a gourmet restaurant and specializes in organizing weddings, banquets and business meetings.
The property has over 8,000 square metres of gardens and outdoor areas with a pool, making it an oasis in the middle of a small medieval town.
